Guatemalan contemporary artist based in NYC. Her education in various areas has allowed her to develop a multidisciplinary vision of the different themes and mediums she explores in her work. She has painted murals and presented work in group and individual exhibitions in Glasgow, Guatemala, Miami, Brooklyn and NYC.

Through her artistic process, she tries to create art that invites the viewer to examine her images through a lens of emotional contemplation. Over the years, she has built scenarios, modified faces and places to create work that allows multiple perceptions of the world to exist at the same time and explain other ways of understanding it.

In May 2020, she founded Kat the Cat Store, an e-commerce brand where she sells her art, digital work and clothing. In 2021, she started a MS in Applied Analytics at Columbia University to boost her online presence and the success of her business. Since then, she has been exploring how technology and art can coexist, and how analytics, creative code and AI can play a role in innovation, imagination and creation. She enjoys combining her past experiences and Latin American roots, with her new skillset and the craziness of big city life in her latest work.
